Terms of Service.
The terms that govern this website and every Dooley Advisory engagement. Straight answers here too.
Effective date: September 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of dooleyadvisory.com and your purchase of services from Dooley Advisory LLC ("Dooley Advisory," "we," "us"), an Idaho limited liability company. By using this website or purchasing our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
Dooley Advisory provides business advisory services, including the Business Diagnostic, fractional COO and CFO advisory, executive coaching, advisory retainers for commercial finance firms, and educational offerings. Specific engagements may be governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, or invoice; where a separate agreement exists, it controls over these terms for that engagement.
Not Professional Advice
Our services and content are business advisory and educational in nature. Nothing we provide is legal, tax, accounting, investment, or securities advice, and nothing on this website or in any engagement is an offer to lend, arrange, broker, or place financing or capital. Dooley Advisory is not a lender, loan broker, investment adviser, or broker-dealer. Educational content, including any masterclass material, is provided for informational purposes only. You should consult your own attorney, accountant, and other licensed professionals before acting on any recommendation.
No Guarantee of Results
We guarantee honest, specific analysis grounded in your actual numbers. We do not guarantee any particular business outcome, revenue result, approval, funding, or savings. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your execution and market conditions. Any examples or client results referenced are not a promise of similar outcomes.
Fees and Payment
Fees are stated on this website or in your engagement documents. The Business Diagnostic is a one-time fee due before work begins. Advisory retainers are billed monthly with a 90-day initial commitment, month to month thereafter, and either party may end a month-to-month retainer with 30 days written notice. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Refunds
If, at the fit call stage, either of us decides the Business Diagnostic is not the right fit, nothing is owed. Once the diagnostic kickoff has occurred and work has begun, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable, because the work is performed on your specific business and cannot be recovered or resold. Monthly retainer fees already paid for a completed month are non-refundable.
Client Responsibilities
Engagements depend on accurate, complete, and timely information from you. Timelines, including the 14-day diagnostic window, begin when we receive the agreed data package and may be extended if information is delayed, incomplete, or materially inaccurate.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, and the reports, scorecards, roadmaps, and other deliverables we create, are the intellectual property of Dooley Advisory. Clients receive a license to use their deliverables for their own internal business purposes. Deliverables and educational materials may not be resold, republished, or distributed outside your organization without our written consent.
Confidentiality
We keep your engagement information confidential as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to keep our non-public methods, materials, and pricing terms confidential as well.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, submit false information, or use our forms to send unsolicited commercial messages.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dooley Advisory's total liability arising out of or related to the website or any engagement is limited to the fees you paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business opportunities.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Dooley Advisory against third-party claims arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of our deliverables.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bonneville County, Idaho, and both parties consent to that venue.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
